from 79 reviewsAs a Colorado mountain sports enthusiast, the WarmFront baselayer has become my go-to piece of winter gear. This warmer excels at maintaining core warmth without causing overheating during high-intensity activities.
On mountain bike rides, it offers essential wind protection during chilly mornings and high-speed descents, while easily stowing in a jersey pocket when temperatures rise. For skiing, it provides an extra thermal layer under your jacket that's especially valuable on sub-zero days, helping regulate temperature between uphill climbs and downhill runs.
The WarmFront's lightweight, packable design stays securely in place during active movement, and its breathable material prevents moisture buildup. While it may take some experimenting to find your ideal layering combination, its versatility makes it particularly valuable for Colorado's variable mountain conditions, especially during shoulder seasons when full winter gear would be excessive.
WarmFront offers an effective solution for maintaining core warmth without compromising mobility or comfort.
I run an event company (5K and the like) and we gave these to staff and select athletes, and they are perfect for Colorado running and working outside!
I received this product as part of a giveaway from Bicibits. I use it on every ride below 50 degrees which happens quite often here in Portland. It made me not get rid of my Pearl Izumi jacket because it turned as supposed 'wind proof' jacket into a windproof jacket. My only critique is that I wish the velcro strap was a little beefier, other than that, it is a fantastic product!
Light enough to forget that it is even there but effective enough to minimize clothing. Great concept and application.
I wore this on a 53 degree morning. This is cold for us Californians. My chest always gets cold for the first few miles but not anymore. Wish I bought it sooner.
I used my warmfront today during my morning bike ride. It was really cold at the start of my ride and it kept me nice and warm. I love the high neckline! After a few hours the sun came out and was able to just open up the Velcro and take the warmfront off while still biking. It’s light and easy to store in my jersey pocket. I definitely recommend it!
It's incredible how such a tiny package makes such a big difference. Truly a must have piece of gear for cycling.
Just love these and stoked to give away for such a great cause. Thank you Warmfront!

Love this piece! I live and ride in Southern California where there are days that start off a bit chilly, but end up being mild and warm by the end of a ride. My Warmfront keeps the chill away until the temperatures rise. When the chill is gone, I can simply take the Warmfront off, roll it up, and stick in in my jersey pocket. It takes up very little space. Much better than stowing a jacket or a vest, which I can typically go without now, thanks to the Warmfront. For reference, I have the Ultralight Warmer and our temps range from the mid 40s to the high 60s or low 70s. The Warmfront covers this range perfectly. If you don't have a Warmfront, I highly recommend adding one to your cycling kits as a useful and versatile piece. Also want to thank Matt and Linda for the great customer service, answering my questions, and getting me the right piece for my needs.
Warmfront for the win! I'm gaining quite the collection of these priceless accessories. It is the easiest way to add or subtract a layer and make a difference in your comfort while on the bike.
This thing is great! Perfect for those cool Colorado mornings when you need just a little extra core warmth biking a descent but don't need the trouble of a full layer.
I just got my Warmfront and the quality is wonderful!
Hei! This works! I have used for a week and I bought to take away the chill during my night time winter MTB rides. This is in San Francisco, around 45-55, with occasional "deeps" into 40. I generally use 4 layers, a thin tank top, a mid-weight patagonia capilene, and two MTB jerseys on top of each other (long and short sleeve). That is not at all enough at night, with chest and neck getting quite badly chilled. Add the Warmfront ultralight and ... bingo. I am all nice and toasty. It lies to be kept in place, and so it goes either between tank top or capilene, or capilene and fist jersey. Nice item! Add warmth with irrelevant weight and bulk.
Awesome addition for some cold weather activities! Lightweight and warm and the neck part is VERY comfortable! Honestly forgot it was on and it stayed close to my body with a bike jersey one. Stayed warm but never overheated. Used this for a cyclocross race but plan to also use it for alpine touring and skiing this winter! Super excited to have this addition to stay warm and eliminate overly sweaty backs with a backpack on!
Love it! Just the right warmth and weight!
